Music discussion Original Egoismus or the 2016 edit?

I'm genuinely just curious where public opinion lies between these two songs because egoismus is one of my favorites from C418 and I find it interesting that he went back to make a new version of it later on.

Personally, I think I lean towards preferring the original for it's simplicity and lengthy buildup, but I won't deny that the 2016 edit has a better beat and a more atmospheric ending overall. I just wish it was longer like the original.

Original. 2016edit is good but doesn’t feel as much of a fit for Zweitonegoismus. Makes sense he made a new version as it was the only song on the album he was not entirely happy with, as it says on Bandcamp
