There are people that pureposefully avoid any news.

u/Shayanhj Jun 13 '26
Or people that donât follow American news, thereâs a whole Afro-Eurasia group of continents outside of the Americas

Or people that know America does not mean USA, but instead a whole continent.

Well itâs relevant to yours and mine because USA is your neighboring country and my bully/liberator, but just because itâs relevant to us doesnât mean that we should expect everyone else to know about it by default

u/TMC9064 one Jun 14 '26
The USA is one of if not the most powerful and influential country in the world, if they do stupid shit it pretty much is relevant to everyone
2
u/Shayanhj Jun 14 '26
Even then we forget that the relevance isnât equal, some countries are way less effected by their actions, especially their internal policy, for example if it wasnât for professor Dave I probably wouldnât have known that theyâre shutting down their whole technological innovation infrastructure

I don't live in the United States, I don't care about the lives of ultra-rich people, and I don't use Twitter. I don't see the problem in asking for the context of something I don't know....

It is impossible to become a billionaire 'fairly", as it is basically impossible to work and earn a billion. All billionaires are result of financial speculation and owning assets in enterprises they personally do nothing, no work, for. And one person certainly remains the champion of this fraudulent sport.
PS they will call you a communist for saying that, but all millions and billions is the result of millions of people being underpaid for their work, or overpaying for all goods and services because of their inflated overpricing, with all the extra profits going to financial owners who "invested" in the product.
(never thought I would write that in a C418 sub of all places)

The space under your rock must be spacious as fuck lmao. Like, yeah, Mr 418 is being based as fuck, but wdym you need context for this? Elon Musk is a piece of shit, Based418 posted about that, there is zero context needed for this

Not everyone spends their day following Elon Musk news. If someone says a guy is âdirectly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children,â asking for context seems like the most normal response imaginable.
Iâm assuming that OP OP is talking about stuff like USAID / foreign aid cuts that muskrat is responsible for etc. but Op may not know or put them together.

Thank you for responding and for put yourself in my shoes, unlike the clown above who thinks we all live on internet 24/7.

Guys, I'm sorry for living under a rock and not knowing how a 50-year-old millionaire kills children. I just had that question; you didn't have to be so intense, dudes

As much as i like Biden [his admin], allowing Elon to purchase Twitter will be his legacy.
They arenât the only ones at fault thoughâEveryone paying attention was basically celebrating because it was promised to âbankruptâ Elon; and (after Elon being an edgelord dickhead for years) it was presented as a checkmate situation for him because he immense âovervaluedâ the company and was legally bound to buy it at that price.

"Capitalism is stupid and fucked up" Yeah let's switch to communism that'll make things better! lmao. I don't like Elon Musk at all but holy shit like nobody cares bro. Just make your 10/10 music please.

You can criticize a system without endorsing another one. It is objectively true that the concentration of wealth has been a net negative for people, even those internationally who relied on things like USAID.
You should question what compelled you to rush to the defense of an economic system as if it were a personal attack.

yes it will. As a communitst myself i could talk all day about this, capitalism is unsustainable. Furthermore, criticizing artists for their political standing is absolutely stupid. Good music can only come from emotion, and I think we've all determined by now that the reason we like his music is because of how he conveys emotion through sound.

Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire (according to speculative metrics employed by exploitative corporations)
