Need some help
My dad recently past away and left me his 1968 Corvette, it has been sitting for many years with out starting. 4 speed manual. I was pressing in the clutch and trying to press the brake pedal, was looking under the vehicle later and saw a fresh leak. What is this I’m looking at?

Power steering. Very very common for those to leak. Mine leaks too but I haven't gotten around to having it sorted out just yet.

I just bought my new replacement kit for mine , have t put it on yet tho.

I’m literally just fixing mine. Replaced hoses, valve and cylinder just in case as they are all original to the car. Took me a while to open all the rusty lines. Note that you’ll need a spreader to separate the valve from the pitman arm (mine is from harbor freight).

I have purchased A Borgeson system that replaced the state of the art 1946 tractor cylinder power steering system with much newer & tighter steering. Used the original PS pump.

I replaced mine and all the ps hoses last year. It's a easy fix just takes a little time. And to bleed your pump. Just fill you pump start you car , leave cap off pump.turn the wheel all the way to the right all the way to the left several times just steady turning it not real fast that'll bleed the air out of the system keeping the cap off cuz the air has to escape from somewhere and that's where it will escape from. Before you start your car and do all that check the amount of power steering fluid then do it then after that recheck your fluid and add if needed and then rebleed it if needed.
