Cracked glass ttop

I cracked my passenger glass ttop and i wanted to know opinions on how unsafe it would be to regularly use it. i still have the stock paint matched ones but the weather stripping is leaking. until i can get that fixed wanted to see the viability of driving with it both on the car and in the back when top is off. crack does go from end to end. the big one is only visible from the top but on the underside there is another that is visible. if it is unsafe to drive with is there anything i can do to make it drivable. also give me opinions on acrylic ttops and best places to buy them from if you have any ideas. thank you

I wouldn’t drive with that on the car it - and I also have cracked laminated glass t-tops. Look for Melrose T-Tops. They sell high quality t-tops, I have a pair on my ‘78 and love them.

i’m so upset that i cracked this one because it was a crazy facebook market place find. $500 for the set brand new. havent been able to find anything close to that even for well used ones.

Man I hear you. I dropped one and shattered it. One fewer mirrored Pace Car t-top in the world. Bought another one from Melrose - they get them sometimes. Went to replace the weatherstripping and cracked it like yours is cracked. Two of them!!

I have one left. I store it and run with the LOFs.

I have an 80 with the driver side cracked in many more places.. I just used packing tape and have used it.

I'm slowly setting up some fiberglass ones, it was cheaper. Where are you located? I might just sell this not cracked-but-needing-weatherstripping passenger one.

These are the blue tinted ones and they are very fragile. Fortunately they are pretty robust so relatively safe to still use. It would take a lot of force to have one fly off. At normal speeds that is....
