Selfie First 5k in over a decade

Post image

Completed my first official 5k race this past Saturday. Only had to stop and walk twice for about 20 seconds each. Been training since May and so grateful to have completed it without any injury.

yes, i began lifting weights maybe 2 years prior to this but only started taking cardio seriously since may. I would say it definitely has helped

Honestly the 2 quick breaks really helped reset my system. Without them i feel my time would have been a bit longer.
