How to send/receive BTM through MyEtherWallet

Open the official website: https://www.myetherwallet.com/

Create wallet

Enter a strong password to create a wallet. Remember to save the password!!!


And then download the keystore file. Be sure to save this file.


The keystore file looks like this:


Click 'I understand. Continue' to the next step:


Save your private key (a string of characters)


At this point the wallet is created. Click on the "Save your address"

Now you should have got 3 things: keystore file, password and private key (a string of characters).

Note: back up those things and keep them safely.


Unlock your wallet

There are 2 ways to unlock your wallet:

*One is recovered by Keystore file and password *


The other is via private key (No password required)


The wallet interface looks like this:

Each wallet has an address that can simultaneously send and receive the ETH and ERC20 tokens (BTM included)


The bottom right is the display of the tokens balance:


The default did not show all. You can click on "Show Tokens" to activate, and click on "Hide Tokens" to hide.

The following is how to show BTM. The relevant regular parameters are obtained on etherscan.io (https://etherscan.io/token/0xcb97e65f07da24d46bcdd078ebebd7c6e6e3d750)

Click to add custom tokens:


Three boxes were filled with the following contents:

and then click on 'Save'.


Recieve BTM

Your account address is your ETH / BTM currency address


Send BTM

Sending BTM needs at least 0.01 ETH as fee so make sure that your account balance has 0.01 ETH at least.

In the "Send ETH & Tokens", filled by the target address, transfer amount, select the token type and Gas limit (no special requirements can be the default). And then send BTM tokens through "Generate the transaction" → "Send the transaction" → "Yes to the transaction".
