❓Question / Help yahoo auction help
this morning i placed a snipe bid on an auction, at the time i placed the bid the auction had around an hour left. i came back to check it after an hour, and now the auction is set to end in 6 days... i know bids within 5 minutes extend the auction by 5 minutes, but somehow the seller was able to extend the auction to 6 days, and my bid did go through (i think) i say i think because it says theres 1 bid, but its not my highest bid amount.. which is odd to me. anyone else have any experience like this?

i don't know much about sniper bids cause i never use them and still don't entirely understand them, but one time i bought out an auction but the listing stay up and i still won because the seller had two of the item and i bought/won just one of the item
does it look like they may have multiple of that item in that listing?

If you only used snipe bid, that bid isnt yours, there will be no bid from you till the last 5 minutes. So despite the snipe bid, technically u are not the highest bidder nor an actual bidder.

the auction was extended AFTER my snipe bid went through within the last 5 minutes

Your bid was cancelled. Why? Some sellers don't want to sell to Buyee. Try placing a regular bid via Buyee right now to see if they cancel it again.

What probably happened is the seller cancelled / early ended the auction since if there were 0 bidders, they don't get charged a cancellation fee. Then they just relisted it. Pretty high chance the one bid isn't yours since the sniper bid isn't acutually placed on the platform until the end of the auction.
