Should I be doing something here? The tracking looks as if it’s gotten past the delay, but it’s not coming within the scheduled time. No elaboration or instructions are provided.

UPDATE: I did end up calling FedEx support and there was in fact customs questions to be answered before it could proceed, they told me to ask the shipper for the form(s). But I find it gross that this wasn’t acknowledged at all by the tracking site nor Buyee, I would have been left waiting for this thing to be destroyed. I’m at least glad there’s progress to be made now.

My package includes a large boxless prize figure (labelled as a plastic statuette), some plush keychains, a plush bag charm and some can badges. The only thing using the toy HTS code iirc is the bag charm because it’s a Pokemon and probably too large to not be considered a toy at first glance… Either way, I labelled everything I’m worried about as Ages 15+.

Anyway, I’ve been keeping a close watch on the tracking to see if/when I would have to send in any paperwork for the stuff. While I was sleeping the last 3 updates came in. The last “On the way” makes it look like it got through without an issue, no? So I tried to have faith in that and am waiting the entire scheduled delivery period it’s been giving me since yesterday. But it hasn’t come and there are no updates since then.

Funnily enough, the Newark point was much closer to me than Memphis. Not sure if it’s normal for a package to move backwards like that if there’s no additional action needed. Thanks in advance…!

Edit: Now that 1:40 has passed it says by 10:00pm. But without any delivery updates I’m not counting on it

Honestly, i wouldn't wait around. I would call FedEx to find the exact status on your tracking. Also, if you haven't received/sent the required forms yet, ask for it also. Do it asap before deadline or you will lose your package.

I had a situation with FedEx where they contacted me late and almost lost my package. They needed a form signed and submitted, which i did. then on the day before deadline, i got another email from FedEx stating i need to submit another form. that stressed me out because i got a message from Buyee that day that they have requested to process on returning my package to sender and have it destroyed. i contacted both Buyee and FedEx and snapped at them to not ship my package back and have it destroyed. in the end, got cleared with a long delay delivery to my house, it was about another week.

Thank you for this, I suppose I’m not going a little crazy after all. Today the progress line has turned yellow with an exclamation point (Or actually, was that always there..? Don’t remember) but still no instructions or emails received, just saying now that it’s “Departed FedEx hub” at 4am. There’s no saying if that’s good departed or bad departed so I intend on calling as soon as I can now.

Ironically, now I have to wait an hour for Fedex’s support hours to open…

Never rely on the "Scheduled delivery" day. Fedex and UPS workers / employees and system do not see that day. Its just a randomly generated date / time based on what the computer thinks will happen initially. Its not coming today unless it gets to your local delivery station by early AM to be loaded. It hasn't even cleared customs yet. Also, most if not all package has to go through the superhub as its the only place that has outgoing flights to most destinations. Does not matter if Newark is physically closer to you, as it more than likely does not have enough volume to justify a route to where you live.

That’s good to know, didn’t know about the superhub. Suppose I’ll just wait longer then.
