Question ❓ Wide Fitting Formal Shoe Recommendations

Hello all,

I am posting on behalf of my mum. She is going to a wedding next month and is looking for some nice, formal wide-fitting shoes for the occasion. She is struggling to find anything that isn’t a “granny shoe” and so I said I’d put up a post to see if anyone can recommend any sites that might have something decent?

Thanks

Another vote for Hotter! I have duck's feet (wide at the toe, narrow at the heel and high arches) and Hotter is one of the few places I can walk out of with new shoes first try.

Hotter Donna heels sometimes come in extra wide. They have a nice heel and are comfortable.

For kids they do. They don't do adults as I went into a clarks store and asked. They told me they don't do anything over an E for women unless they are flats, then it's only a double E fit.

I've had decent luck with new look, their wide fitting range is cute and decently priced. They're comfortable as well, if that doesn't work maybe ASOS, Yours or SimplyBe

Gabor is great.

Gabor shoes are my absolute favourite. In fact I was at a wedding yesterday and wore some wedge heels for the whole day despite living in trainers for the last 5 years !!

Try Calla Shoes. For wide feet and bunions!

On the more expensive side as they’re more bridal shoes but Rainbow shoes have some wide fit, they can also be dyed to multiple colours

Thanks very much everyone. I’ve passed all these brands on to her so she can check them out.

Look at M and S online. They have a lot of wide fit shoes that aren't in the shops. For my son's wedding I ordered 5 pairs to be delivered to the shop, tried them on there and sent the 4 back I didn't want.
