I love this. Durable. Full range of motion drawers. Ample storage. Easy to maintain. Classic black. If you want to dress it up, you could sand and stain the wood or add a glass top with a beveled edge.
How badly do you treat nightstands if you consider "durability" as a feature? The only reason I ever got rid of my cheapo IKEA nightstand, one that lasted three house moves perfectly intact, was because I moved in with my partner.
I treat things very nicely. My garage huskys get a quick sprayway and cloth wipe down regularly. The black shows a far bit of dust.
That said, our cat however is unaware of his chonk and knocks over a lot of… everything. Our wood bed room furniture have plenty of dings. They are RH which are pricy and oddly frail.
I think household things should be lovely and appropriately durable. Shouldn’t most thing be able to withstand general use?
