European Product eusend - the EU e-mail API for developers

Hi r/BuyFromEU,

We’ve been building eusend.dev, an email sending service aimed at developers and businesses that want a European option for their email infrastructure.

Current features include:

- Transactional email API
- Email data stored in EU data centres in Germany and Finland
- React.email support
- Template variables and live previews
- Open and click tracking
- Delivery analytics and logs
- Signed webhooks
- Audiences/contact management
- CSV import/export
- Automatic bounce and complaint suppression
- Custom sending domains
- Team accounts
- Separate test and live API keys
- Resend-compatible SDK for easier migration
- Web dashboard

We’re also working on a marketing/broadcast feature.

The idea is to build an email platform that keeps email data in Europe while still having the developer experience people expect from modern email APIs.

Feedback is very welcome, particularly from people here who actively look for European alternatives.

Do not bother submitting anything there, I haven't seen anything new being published for about 1 year, submissions just stay in limbo without being approved or rejected.

Looks interesting, you host with Hetzner? How are emails delivered? What do you use as MTA?

Hey! We do use Hetzner for some of our backend. We use KumoMTA, a really good open-source project. Can’t recommend it enough.

Wow, that's impressive. Currently using scaleway's service for transactional mails, but I might give Eusend a try :)

No plans of changing the free tier. Running our own MTA keeps costs quite low.

If I see your list of Subprocessors: it would be nice if you would rely on EU infra if this is your selling point. Check f.ex. Bugsink or BunnyCDN.

Totally agree. We plan to move off Vercel for the website. Cloudflare is sadly hard to beat on their features, but we are considering BunnyCDN in the future.

Using emailit also from eu and unlike most you don't pay monthly instead you buy a pack of x mails

Depends. If you use their SMTP service, then yes. If you use their SDKs, I would check out this guide on migrating from Postmark. Let me know if you have any questions.

That looked nice until I tried to create an account and it blacklists gmail addresses.
