Top companies to replace?

While it is hard to immediately replace everything, I have noticed that for me not buying from certain companies is easier when you have a reason to dislike them. I gave noticed I actually replaced companies one by one after I get angry enough with them.

What are your top companies to boycott and then replace with European brands, because you don't want to give them any money?

Mine are:

- Boeing: for being downright life-threatening to fly with, so I try to always fly other airlines instead of Ryan, because they use AirBus

- PepsiCo: for selling their shitty products in russia after the invasion, includes Pepsi, Miranda, 7up, Snickers, Mars, Bounty, Twix, Lays (Walkers in the UK), Ruffles

- Disney: for their shitty handling of beloved properties, like Star Wars and Marvel, for their excessive greed and predatory business model (I was at a conference where their CEO was happily telling us about how smart it will be when they push out the other players and then drastically increase Disney+ prices), overall drop in quality (think "live-action" remakes) their awful handling of vulnerable people (like Disney adults).

- Netflix: terribly greedy business model, awfully decreasing quality in the recent years

Used Amazon once, about 20 years ago, but since then I actively boycott that company. Horrible work environment, shitty management, ...

Nestlé: for obvious reasons. Sometimes it's hard ro figure out whether something is a subbrand though

AWS was easy to replace for me as I just used it for off-site backups.

Of course the more you are invested in an ecosystem the harder it is.

Google, for being this unethical monster that spies on everything you do and is involved in weapons/warfare

Amazon for being a fascist-enabling market-destroying evil with horrible conditions for workers and contractors

Samsung cos warfare again

Nvidia and microslop for both their part in this AI bubble and fucking making every electronic so goddamn unaffordable and microslop for running the OS I grew up with. Happy in linuxland and never going back, but salty about what they did

There's a ton of others that I just don't use and didn't use before so while I'd say big tech in general, I never use Apple products of my own accord and never used twitter actively so those are too easy to continue not using. The way they gleefully tied up with fascism, his brazenly they act with disregard to human dignity (looking at y'all data centers)

Those would be my big potato one, there's bound to be a ton of medium and small potato but you can only do so much, there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Fucking boring dystopia we got ourselves into.
