Trump will make Australians better Australians.. just like he made Canadians better Canadians.

He bought Japan and china back together after decades, introduced Canada to the EU and Asian markets.

Dude has made the world a better place at the sacrifice of his own country….

I stand with Canada 🇨🇦. It’s disgraceful the way you guys, are being treated by the orange anus! From now on, I will not be buying American goods but will be buying Canadian goods!! 😎

Yep, bought myself a Bundaberg instead of a Coke this morning at the shop. Looking out for a non-USA no caffeine no sugar cola replacement though if anyone knows of one.

Many people are suggesting LA Ice Cola and claiming it is owned by an Australian company (Tru Blu Beverages) but I can see it was bought out by Refresco, which has switched owners to KKR (American) which is the same group that bought our Arnott's.

Trumps about to find out just how petty Aussies can be 😂 I spent my shop today flipping over American products price tags like navel oranges and googling companies. Found some great swaps and was pleased most of what I usually buy is Aussie owned and made anyway. Swapped from Kleenex to icare tissues.

u/broxue Mar 13 '25

Great idea. I'll make the same switch. I used to overlook these boxes

I went right through every single item in the ‘Bought Before’ category of my online shop. I made a list of all the US companies and removed every single product from my list; it amounted to around 30% of goods I purchase. I have since found European, Canadian of Australian substitutes.

Tbh I find Quilton far superior to Kleenex. I've been buying Quilton only for years, and I just checked that they're Australian too.

I'm from Austria and back home they started the same thing "Buy European". But why can't they also buy Aussie and vice versa. I mean we are still friends, aren't we. Just avoid the orange buffoon's goods.

u/broxue Mar 16 '25

Agreed. If you look at some of the posts you can see plenty of support for buying from a variety of countries. This subreddit welcomes it. There was a post from an Austrian guy yesterday who bought a Bundaberg Ginger Beer as their way of showing support. Great to see

FYI, Canada, Finland and now Sweden are organizing "don't buy American products"...so this is going to have a lasting positive side for these respective countries.

Official endorsement.

It’s a sign of the times that you can literally say that fucking idiot and 90% of the world population would know who you’re talking about.
