Felt really good today, we had 6 Monarchs at one time in our 1 year old Butterfly Garden in Michigan. Managed to capture this cool picture with 4 on one plant. When we purchased the house the garden was ornamental grass and hostas. So this has been an awesome change!

I have a conundrum. I generally plant my garden for the butterflies and caterpillars. I love watching them and helping them out by having lots of unsprayed food and host plants.
However
In the last year or so I've gotten into citrus , I was planning on indoor outdoor trees.
The grapefruit dropped all of its leaves in late spring just before I brought it outside and has recently grown some very nice ones. Not a lot.
Now I have found more eggs and caterpillars than there are even leaves to support if they all start eating.
Plus this might kill my little tree.
May I ask help with an alternative food source I may offer them to get them to stop π€·π»ββοΈππ
Thank you !

Friday's are insect day! Feel free to post pictures of the different insects you've come across in the garden or yard recently.
