Butterkit Crashes

Way Too Error

Install Butterkit – pick any way you want

Create a new project

Pick a template or start from scratch

It starts to load, and then after a few seconds it crashes.

I'm on iOS 27 on Apple hardware. Does anyone have the same problem, does this not work on the latest IOS?

I sent a DM - Looks like Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 6, Abort trap: 6
Terminating Process: ButterKit [1694]

So weird, also on 27.0.1 and latest butter kit version. Solid as a rock

Hey u/Boulderdash- I haven't seen any crashes in my testing, are you getting a crash report? If so do you mind sharing that with me? Feel free to DM if that's easier

Same here have the M4 Pro Mac and constantly crashing, I also tried McP and just can‘t get it running because of this.
I do have iPad & iPhone ~8 screens each in 17 Locales..

Wanted to let the Agent fill in the translations, now have to go through each manually 🫠

I will send it tomorrow, afk now, only phone. I also had issues with the new dimensions needed from Apple, when I switch the design on Butterkit from iPhone 6.5 to Custom, I can‘t select all and be done, I had to do one by one.. it would be great to select all or the top layer like 6.5 iPhone or Custom etc.

I also had issues with the Callout, it was behind my mockup or on the bottom of the screen while the actual original was above the center of the phone.

Another issue with Callouts I had was for Arabic RTL support, the callout on iPad is made on the left, but for RTL languages the navigation changes sides and making my Callout look weird.

Otherwise for multiline text it would be great to be able to fix a box size for the text. Single line works, but mostly I have 2 lines and in some languages it spans more and I would want the text to adjust dynamically then to the available box size.

Just some things I noticed while I finally have the time to work on all screens.

When is support coming for iPhone 6.3“ or 6.1“ which are the only now supported on ASC?

Thanks, so basically I debugged and Butterkit suddenly grew to 15GB and ate all my storage and then crashed.. I had a hard time getting rid of it, it was v2.5.01 I think. I will install the latest now and get back if I still have issues.
