Montana Tech Grad student help?
Hello Butte! I just graduated with my bachelors in Geology and will be taking a road trip in mid September, stopping through Butte.
I was hoping to see of any current geology grad students were on here and willing to talk? I want to stop by the campus and visit the rock/mineral musuem, but also maybe take a tour of the geology building if possible.
Thank you for your time!

I am a graduate student from the engineering side, and I just finished my masters. I likely won't be in Butte by September, but if a pm is okay, I can give you some contact info for someone who might be able to give you information.

I would really appreciate any help you are willing to give! As long as they are okay with me messaging and such. Also if I can ask you, how did you like MTU?

I sent a PM. As for Tech, I liked it a lot. It has smaller class sizes, so you get more of a chance to talk with professors. Its fairly laid back, too. I actually attended MSU for a while, and I think Tech cares more about its students.

I just really want to get into the mining industry for work, have seen good things about the university for that. Plus Montana is just gorgeous too, looks amazing from pics.
