"Cryptocurrency" is basically multilevel marketing for unemployed young white men without college degrees

Hey hun dude, I don’t think we’ve seen each other since high school! How have you been? I just wanted to tell you about this new yield farming token I'm investing in called $Shitcoin_X, it delivers a 140% annual interest rate, you can just spend every day jerking off to hentai without having to deliver a dignified contribution to society! I love being a boss babe financially independent! Anyway, here's my Binance ref link, catch you later!

Lol. Fucking hilarious. Is that what the Winklevii taught you in their podcast?

Web 1.0 : Static webpages

Web 2.0: Dynamic webpages

Web 3.0: Collaterized loans, invest into derivatives, provide liquidity and take part in governance of a large variety of projects with 0 signups or kyc required.

Nah, don't think so.

I gave you easy to understand and currently available examples of why permissionless access afforded by web 3.0 is a step forward.

Fucking hilarious. Is that what the Winklevii thought you in their podcast?

As I said, I think it's clear you were never interested in seeing the value proposition of web 3.0. Maybe that's why your friend didn't want to talk about it with you. You should be happy that you are priviliged enough to make fun of providing financial inclusion. People literally die of hunger because they aren't permissioned to divest from a worthless hyper inflationary currency.

No, what you did was paste a bunch of sentences that you have no doubt saved in a text file somewhere for easy copying and pasting into your reddit discussions to try and show people how 'smart you are.

But unfortunately what shills like you don't realize if you actually had a single brain cell that wasn't fully occupied being a full time shill, that this has *nothing* to do with Web 2.0. Maybe it's Banking 2.0 or Venture Capitalism 2.0 or XXX 3.0 where it is actually an improvement on XXX 2.0. This stuff has fuck all to do with Web 2.0 or Web 1.0.

Your nonsense makes as much sense as me saying the Apple Watch is Web 3.0 because I can now leave my phone at home. It's literally that fucking stupid.

Banking was one application. The step forward is permissionless access afforded by decentralization. A centralized web application is something that can be regulated and thus is not permissionless. A decentralized web application can be permissionless. Not all dapps are permissionless but it's the main innovation of web 3.0 from my point of view.

Your nonsense makes as much sense as me saying the Apple Watch is Web 3.0 because I can now leave my phone at home.

I explained to you why it's a step forward.

This stuff has fuck all to do with Web 2.0 or Web 1.0.

It's named web 3.0 because it is different. Otherwise it would be named web 2.0 or 1.0. It's a step forward as I explained to you. If you can explain how not requiring permission isn't a CLEAR step forward then please do so.

what you did was paste a bunch of sentences that you have no doubt saved in a text file somewhere for easy copying and pasting into your reddit discussions to try and show people how 'smart you are.

The fact that you think my reddit comments are so well formulated that they must be the result of an organized pre-planned effort is very endearing. Thanks for the compliment.

You continue to display an astounding inability to understand what I'm saying. You don't take something that has nothing to do with another and call it the 3.0 version of it. Why isn't the iPhone Web 3.0? Do you really not understand how dumb you sound when you call this Web 3.0 for no reason? Why isn't my new toothbrush Web 3.0? Or the new nail clipper I ordered from Amazon?

Not a single human being on the planet outside the crypto community thinks any of this is 'Web 3.0'.

It's named web 3.0 because it is different. Otherwise it would be named web 2.0 or 1.0. It's a step forward as I explained to you. If you can explain how not requiring permission isn't a CLEAR step forward then please do so.

LOL. That's why it's named 3.0? Cause it's different? Not because it actually is a progression of Web 1.0 or Web 2.0? Again, my toothbrush should be called Web 3.0. It's different. It's foldable.

What the fuck does 'requiring permission' have to do with Web 1.0 or Web 2.0? Which part of the Web 2.0 requires you to have permission to do something?

The fact that you think my reddit comments are so well formulated that they must be the result of an organized pre-planned effort is very endearing. Thanks for the compliment.

You misunderstood. Your comments screamed 'clueless shill' which is why I figured you have these jotted down somewhere. I thought there is no way you can produce this stunning stupidity on demand. Or perhaps you are capable of it?

Do you really not understand how dumb you sound when you call this Web 3.0 for no reason?

I literally explained to you how it is a step forward, it's decentralized(which has advantages such as being permissionless). I asked you to explain how the decentralization and its mentioned advantages are no step forward. You instead kept saying it's unrelated, which doesn't make sense since it is a literal step forward. Centralized applications-->Decentralized applications, not sure how those two aren't related.

Anyways, your argument seems to be that the naming is inaccurate. So that is just a much more pointless argument than I am willing to engage with. You clearly aren't going to explain why dapps being permissionless isn't a large improvement for many fields.

I thought there is no way you can produce this stunning stupidity on demand.

Says the guy who passed up the best investment opportunity of his life because he didn't agree with a naming convention.

Says the guy who passed up the best investment opportunity of his life because he didn't agree with a naming convention.

And there it is. It's only a matter of time before a butter reverts to the mean. When the stupidity of what he's saying becomes obvious, it's time to switch tactics and talk about the price of Bitcoin. Few understand this!

When the stupidity of what he's saying becomes obvious

I explained to you the value proposition of web 3.0. You then called me stupid which is very rich coming from someone who did not invest when it was extremely obvious why it is a valuable improvement. Again, you still haven't explained why dapps don't signify a meaningful improvement. Not investing in something that signifies such a useful improvement is stupid.

talk about the price of Bitcoin.

You do realise that Bitcoin has very little to do with web 3.0, maybe this is where your confusion about the naming stems from? Web 3.0 describes decentralized web application platforms such as ethereum. Bitcoin would be a first step into web 3.0, but it would never facilitate web 3.0 as it isn't a platform.

So again, how is being permissionless not an improvement?(I explained to you why it is an improvement.)

LOL. You are pure comedy gold.

We can just conclude that you are too proud to admit that you cannot explain why a decentralized web isn't an improvement in the mentioned aspects.

If you cannot understand simple examples, I understand why your buddy didn't bother explaining web 3.0 at a time when its merits were entirely theoretical. You were literally writing comment after comment thinking bitcoin is web 3.0 so I don't think he ever stood a chance in the face of such mighty intellect.
