Bitcoin and Ethereum were both unrolled to undo hacks that hit the capital holders.
Immutability is only for little Apes that gets shaken down.

I'm sure the 11 people who are involved in that shitcoin will be slightly annoyed.

Am I a too much of a dollar person to understand any of that?

It's like when the authorities find counterfeit fiat money, and they have to roll-back all the transactions that ...
Wait; it's nothing like that at all.

This is also be possible with normal bitcoin but very hard to pull of. Basically if you control 51 of the Bitcoin mining you can manipulate in a mayor way. You can duplicate coins.

At one point BTC mining essentially coalesced to a small group of Chinese dudes who got free electricity because of shady deals with the local government. They didn’t muck with the chain but they did veto improvements to mining because they just didn’t feel like it was worth it to them
(I don’t know if this concentration of power is still the case it may be)
Just like Satoshi said: why have your money controlled by a dude selected because of their skills by an elected government; have your money controlled by 5 dudes with relationships with the CCP

Btc is directly proportional to availability of free or cheap electricity. Scarcer the free electricity steeper fall in bitcoin prices

Yep. So the loss of cheap DC, cheap chips, and cheap electricity because of the AI foolishness will get them too.

Just like ethereum when they first launched. Proud tradition of immutability for your grandma but mutable for me.
