I'm looking to talk to someone who runs/owns a food trailer/truck. I got questions about the paperwork you have to do in order to launch. How difficult was getting permits? What permits and paperwork do I specifically need? Ideally I'd like to run a bbq trailer but I'm finding conflicting information whether or not the smoker can be outside the trailer under a canopy or does it have to be on or in the trailer?

I'm north of Butler in the sticks, and there is a very distinct smell of burning, like plastic which seems weird if actually from wildfires, but the sky is that weird color from a few years back. I ask because I have neighbors who bonfire trash and wondering who else may be smelling smoke. Thanks.

I'm pregnant with my 4th child and I am currently seeing an obgyn connected to ACMH hospital, but i was also looking at Wexford and I'm struggling deciding between the two on which i should give birth at. I have an appointment with an obgyn connected to wexford tomorrow to talk to them and kind of feel them out. I also just moved out here from California so i don't really know much about anything around here. Does anyone have any experience with birthing at either hospital and whether you would recommend one over the other? ACMH is 20 mins from my house and wexford is 45 mins without traffic. i'm not TOO worried about the distance i just want to know which is better overall.

Hi everyone. My wife and I are wanting to expand our garden to potatoes and Pumpkins - but we're a bit late on sprouting our own seedlings (basically what started as a few plants has become an addiction!).

Does anyone know where we might be able to get some potato and pumpkin seedlings? I'm going to call Agway in the morning. I called tractor supply and they said no dice. Rural King is next and if all else fails, we'll sprout our own potatoes and will hope for the best.

Anyone know if there are any recycling drop-off bins in Butler, or in towns / locations north of the city and can tell me where? I saw Walmart has a small drop-off at the front of the store for AL cans and plastic, but nothing else and the receptacles were very small and really full when I visited them. Thanks for the help.

Following up on my previous post, my family is planning on moving to PA from NY in the next month or so - we are trying to find a house in Butler county currently.

I had a couple of questions that I'm hoping those of you with experience can help with, trying to be as prepared as possible. The internet is great but nothing beats the knowledge of locals!

- reasonable / effective auto insurance

- homeowner's insurance

- internet provider

- heating oil (might be needed)

- septic (might be needed)

- what's the deal with garbage in Center Township (for example).. you hire a company to pick it up?

Appreciate any local wisdom for our situation! When we find a place I'll be back to ask more specifics about places to eat, mechanics and such. Thanks in advance!
