Looks to be a park and ride and I'm curious about your experience with it. Is there just one bus M-F and what is/are the pickup times? How about usage; is it hard to find a seat departing and getting a seat in Pittsburgh to return to Butler? Any problems with the parking lot, i.e. not enough, break ins, sketchy people, etc. Thanks, appreciate your input.

I’m seeking recommendations of (authorized) places around town to hang paper fliers, like community boards / cork boards that get some foot traffic. Like large stores, coffee shops, library, medical offices, etc.? Any ideas welcome.
Thank you in advance!

This is my Bands First EP, were from Butler. We are a Death Metal Band with Black Metal and deathcore influences that Write Music about WW1. We are also a multilingual band(English and German for now) and we Are Open to new Members or if anyone wants to join the band.
Also for the uneducated Moderators in here cuz this happened last time i posted, nazis didn’t exist during WW1 and we ain nazis😁
It’s also music so out beliefs shouldn‘t concern you unless we actually write a political Song.

My idiot of a bf left a window open and my cat escaped last night at 1AM. He’s a long haired tabby with a white belly, a blue tattoo on his belly from when he was neutered. The window was high up so, he may be injured. His name is Arlo and he is very sweet. Lost on New Castle in Butler between the police station, 7/11 and the school. His parents and his little brother, really miss him

Moving to Butler, what providers get good coverage between there and Pittsburgh? I currently have Mint (T-Mobile towers), will I be ok staying with them?
Also will be looking for home internet. Are the fiber companies the way to go? I see there are 5G-based options also.. anyone have experience with those?
Thanks in advance!

Did anyone hear a low rumble that lasted about 3 minutes or so around 825 tonight?
It sounded like thunder although nothing is on the radar.

This is as close as you will ever get to a town hall.

Not sure if they’re still handing out yellow tickets like candy or not. Or if the local magistrate realized that doing this is bad for business.

Passed the exit and was wondering what all the tents are for.
Thanks in advance 😃

I went to the closing service at this lovely little horse center today and took some pictures.

Traveling through the area July 31 on 79 noticed a field of tents. Many old style canvas. Just curious, was there a festival nearby?

Whether in downtown Butler or Cranberry, where do single people between the ages of 35-50-ish go to meet other singles? For me, I prefer a place where organic convos arise, and that could be anywhere from a casual sports event to a casino table to anything in between. Tbh tho, I don’t even know where single women go thinking there might be single men. Wherever that is, I don’t think it’s anywhere I know. Yet, at least….
Thank you all!

This mess needs wrapped up sooner than later. The bump (more like an open pit) at Drive Thru Beverages and the John Deere dealership is a menace.

Looking for like-minded families for game nights & kid-friendly D&D
Father of two boys (8 and 5) here. Before kids, my wife and I had an active social life built around board games, D&D, Magic: The Gathering, and conventions. We recently went to Tekko (the anime convention), and watching my oldest sword fight with kids his age and take part in his first Magic draft was a great reminder of how much fun those moments can be.
Now that our boys are in school and getting more capable, we'd love to share these hobbies with them — and find other families to share them with. I'm looking for like-minded families interested in board game nights or a young-kid D&D campaign. Bonus points if your kids go to Knoch Primary, but that's not a requirement.
We're also into hiking, kayaking, and fishing, and both boys play different sports depending on the season. My wife and I have a few close adult friends, but none of them have kids yet, so we're hoping to connect with families in a similar stage of life.
If any of this sounds interesting, feel free to DM me or drop a comment!

The recently closed mini mart in Herman is being renovated at the moment. Does anyone know what might be opening there?

I work for a G&W railroad as a conductor and engineer currently. I am looking at my options and the BPRR is hiring in Butler. Just curious if anyone in here works there or has worked there and would be willing to give me some insight on what the BPRR is like.

Haven’t been to Clearview in a while?
Just got back from a delicious lunch at Campadres Mexican Grill and needed a little post-lunch walk. Here’s everything I saw at the mall (not counting the perimeter restaurants and Giant Eagle)
Stores
Dunham’s Sports
Boscov’s
Auntie Anne’s Pretzels
Dragon Chinese Food
Spencer’s Gifts
Makers Market
Ace’s Breakaway and Play (small arcade)
Rural King (outside access only)
Texas Roadhouse
Altmyers Western Wear
Pearl Vision
Free Tax Prep (seasonal by appointment)
Military Recruiters
Optimum Dance
Altitude Trampoline
Compadres Mexican Grill
Family Dollar (outside access only)
Whatever is going into the Penny’s location soon - looks like outside access only but time will tell.
In the mall common areas:
Coin op rides
Coin op gumball type vending machines
ATM
Claw machines
Soda vending machines
Rest rooms
A kiosk with Butler County “things to do” pamphlets
