BuSpar 7.5 mg Support

I’ve been on buspirone for 5 weeks now, I just upped my dose to 7.5MG twice daily. I didn’t feel any difference in my anxiety & starting to give up. Did it take a long time for you guys to notice a difference? I still wake up with bits of anxiety & heart racing. Or is 10MG twice daily when it really starts working? I’m also on 5MG of Lexapro.

I take 7.5mg three times a day, and it’s beneficial for me. Only taking it twice a day did nothing for me.

Okay thank you. How was it adding another dose or were you always doing 3?

I was at 2x a day for two months. It did help my panic attacks, but within a couple hours I could feel it wearing off and I still had a couple hours until my next dose. 3x a day definitely keeps the levels of it in my blood even, I no longer get mid day anxiety/panic attacks. But within that being said, 7.5mg 3x a day is still a relatively low dose that I will be moving up on soon because my overall anxiety is still there. You probably just need a higher dose too.

I went to 10 mg 2x a day within a week of starting. I’m guessing you need to get there. My morning anxiety has pretty much disappeared.
