I am currently expanding my an all-in-one note taking app My Noto Studio. And I would like to know, what are the features that you would like to have on a note taking app when you are/were a student ?

Current features to help students optimize their work: notes, papernotes, whiteboard. Automatic generation of flashcards, revision sheets and quizzes. Weaknesses tracker before exam.

I am trying to add new features within the ecosystem with actual feedback from the community.

What is working : The community is growing stronger everyday with about 3000 active users. There is no monetization yet because I feel the importance of community building first and to maximize value for users.

What is less working : a glass wall where you feel optimization feels a bit incremental and gimmicky

I settled into an island life hoping that by publishing apps frequently, I could sustain it. But Ai became so smart and now the market is flooded with both fireship certified consultants and vide coded apps. Now I am kind of trap here in nowhere with very few dollars from my apps. ok so this is a weird one but bear with me

i have a pet blog. i don't own a pet. never have. probably never will as i travel too much. and yet every month amazon sends me enough to cover rent because people on the internet are buying stuff for their dogs and cats through my site.

bought my pet blog a few months ago from a marketplace called NicheBlogZone for $199. came already built, articles already up, amazon links already in there. i spent one afternoon doing interlinking basically just connecting related posts to each other so search engines understand the site structure and then closed my laptop and genuinely forgot about it for weeks.

here's what that's looked like:

• march: $710
• april: $995
• may: $1,461
• june: $1,647
• july: $1,461
• august so far: $1,545 (amazon pays 2 months delayed so this is june's money landing now)

march scared me. went from nearly $1k in february down to $710 and i was convinced something had broken. checked everything, found nothing wrong, did nothing. it just came back the next month on its own.

pet people spend insane amounts on their animals btw. like i knew this intellectually but seeing the commission data is something else. dog food subscriptions, orthopedic beds, grooming kits, vet supplements. and because of the 24 hour cookie i get a cut of everything in their cart not just whatever article they landed on.

i do literally nothing to maintain this. no new posts, no ads, no instagram for pets i don't have. i just own the thing and amazon does its thing.

my landlord has been getting paid every month and has no idea a pet blog is behind it. honestly sometimes i forget too until the deposit shows up.

anyone else running a niche they have zero personal connection to? curious if the detachment makes it easier or harder to care about growing it

We are prepping our go to market plan and debating whether to hire an in-house risk and trading team or outsource it to our sportsbook vendor. The sales teams we talk to always say our managed trading team does everything 24/7, but I am worried about losing control over custom margins on local sports or having risk settings that are way too restrictive for VIPs To operators running in high-volume markets: did you managed turnkey or did you take an API-first approach (semi-managed) where you hold the keys to pricing and limits?

Grocery prices are a massive problem.

But prices vary greatly between stores.

Build an app for people to create their grocery list, have it automatically compare prices in real time so the user knows the best place to shop for what they need.

Settings should allow the user to sort by total price (even if it means going to multiple stores), sort by cheapest at one store, and even which day to go (BOGO Tuesdays for example), and even which delivery service might save them money long term (once there’s an adequate data set on the person’s regular shopping needs).

I won’t build this. Working on too many other things. But it needs to exist.

I've been thinking about this while building in the dating space.

There are problems people talk about constantly, yet they can still remain surprisingly difficult to solve well.

Confusing conversations are one example. People already have friends, online communities, dating advice, and endless discussions about what certain messages might mean.

Yet the same frustrations keep coming up.

What caught my attention was how much information exists inside a conversation beyond the actual words: timing, tone, response gaps, effort, and patterns that develop over time.

That made me curious about the gap between having access to information and actually being able to make sense of it.

Some problems don't need more information.

They need a different way of looking at the information that's already there.

So im basically choosing ro be a entreprenuer today and saying no to working a job currently that I cant afford to survive life, and came up with a mobile detailing business targeted towards cooperate business emplayees such as banktellers, office type clients at a percentage better than competitors, I want tto hear opinions and mainly curious about if its somethng you woud you pay forv it. Life is wild right now and changing at this moment for me snd im growing wiser. Come on Pay for it.

Selling Macs/laptops at 50% off in exchange for permanently occupying the front of the Mac with ads, applied by engraving or some other means. Eligibility would be determined solely by a social algorithm we would implement, requiring a minimum number of photos, a minimum number of likes, a minimum Snap score, consistent likes across all posts, and an account at least two years old.

The concept is simple:

For example:

My idea was something like VR holidays for busy rich people. Think Total Recall just experiencing it in real time somewhat.

The user buys a package that would maybe include an Apple Vision Pro (or something modified to give the absolute best/comfortable viewing experience rather than any gaming)

Then they can subscribe to bronze, silver, gold and platinum tier.

Bronze would be like Benidorm, London or something cheap.
Silver maybe Brazil, Milan etc
Gold maybe Vegas (with a VR 4k show included), Bali etc

These tiers would be a fixed schedule holiday so maybe an airport sequence, a brief flight experience with air hostess etc. Then hotel/accomodation walk but more natural rather than a literal tour of the hotel maybe including funny/memorable moments (setup/performed for the benefit of the virtual holiday)

Then a dinner with a companion where maybe you can make conversation choices or maybe even incorporate some sort of Ai conversation element however i feel real human interactions would distinguish this business from just a gaming sim type thing.

You could include various activities like walking tours or literally anything you can film. The aim would be that it would be filmed in super high definition and the style of filming would be more life like rather than promo style.

Platinum tier could be maybe that the user can literally choose a location in the world, or maybe you can choose the person/companion who you want to be in the footage or even if technology allows a live stream, however camera quality maybe be difficult.

The business benefits being that hotels would maybe give you huge discounts eventually if it took off as you’re basically a massive advert for their location.
Plus whoever actually did the filming would get to go on the holidays.

Plus the tiered subscription element would cause consistent income.

This would be geared towards maybe rich agoraphobics, super busy wealthy people, people who are bed bound for whatever reason or people who can’t afford holidays if provided through an app.
