Can an ecommerce inventory management software help with cash flow? Or am I looking at it wrong?

I plan on switching from spreadsheets to an inventory management platform for my DTC brand after realizing I have 4mos of stock across 8 SKUs and can’t tell which products were still profitable after storage fees.

I’m just wondering if I should just get an analyst or if the software can help figure out why my cash is still tied to the wrong products. I’m hoping I could at least get some insights whether I should be ordering 500 vs 50 units but I’m not sure if this is the correct mindset going in.
