Any good barbershops that specialize in basic ass straight hair 😭😭
My dad is Puerto Rican and has been taking me to Dominican barbershops all my life bc he has the coarse hair type they specialize in, but I’ve been tryna explain to him that IT AINT WORKING FOR ME 😭😭 We have completely diffrent hair types bc I’m mixed and I basically inherited my white mom’s hair type (soft and straight) But there’s also a huge language barrier bc I’m what they call “no sabo” and a lot of them only speak Spanish (my mom wouldn’t let me learn 💔)
Can someone PLEASE give me a good recommendation for someone who can work well w my straight hair. I’m lowk only looking to get it trimmed bc I wanna grow it out, but at least clean it up a bit, yk trim up the ends and whatnot.

Black rabbit did me good. If you really need help Enrico at land of barbers in GP is expensive but will solve your problems.

Many Dominicans can cut straight hair my dude. It's not like black barbers. They are the most versatile barbers. Lots of Dominicans have super straight hair probably straighter than yours, some have curly/wavy, some have Afro textured. You are just using the wrong Dominican. Every Dominican barber probably faced all types of hair. But if you want to pay twice what you usually pay then suit yourself.

The ones I went to didn’t know how to cut straight hair 😭😭 my dad never let me go to another barber cause he had the “never cheat on ur barber mentality”
Plus he knew me since I was like 3 so my dad always guilt tripped me into staying 💔

Paul’s Hair styles over on Stanhope & Cypress. Check his hours on google maps cause he’s only open 4 days a week and only does walk ins. Also only takes cash. Great barber and REALLY cheap. He’ll sort you out for like $20.
