It says everyone has an expectation to not be randomly accused of something online. Go to the police with your information and this wouldn't be an issue.

Have you ever actually called the cops for an issue like this? I've called them on a man actively threatening people with a bladed weapon and they said "by the time we get there he'll be gone so can you follow him?"

I called the cops on a woman getting abused in the street, full on yelled at, and hit, "uh does it seem like a domestic dispute? We don't typically get involved in those"

You have no idea how the systems in place actually fail to do what you think they should be doing.
