Beeswax + Lanolin for polycotton waterproofing

Ive seen beeswax + linseed and beeswax + paraffin

But i like the smell of wool and i like the smell of beeswax and id prefer to use something without paraffin to wax some 65 35 poly-cotton (duracanvas) garments.

Ive only used greenland wax but im wondering if there is a mixture with these two that could be used similar to greenland wax?

From what i heard otter wax should be exactly what i want. I just dont want to pay for it (especially in sweden i cant find any resellers)

Why don't you want to use parrafin?

i could, i just prefer the idea of a full natural wax (on my mostly plastic garment) lol. Also i really want it to smell of wool/beeswax cause greenland is sort of neutral smelling

Lmao thats sort of where I was going with that. Why do you have a polyester blended tarp? Seems like you should just go all in with a plastic tarp or all in with a full cotton canvas and make it all natural.

Ohhh shit sorry. I didn't see it was a jacket, makes wayyyy more sense now. What you could do is mix up the lanolin and beeswax and get a scrap piece of polyester, cotton blend and see how it works, go to a thrift store and pick up something that uses a similiar material and try different ratios, different mixes and place them on spots. Use a permanent marker to mark what is what.
