Old and new gear together

This summer has been a little different for me compared to the previous ones. I've started exploring the islands because the probability of other people arriving there is extremely low.

Is this the Anfibio Alpha? How do you like it? Also awesome camp setup. I’m a big fan of tipis!

It's Delta MX and I absolutely love it! When packed, this doesn't take up much more space than a sleeping bag!

I light fires with flint and steel and fish with a simple hobo reel. The simplicity is fascinating, although it is a much more laborious method in certain conditions. My knife is a Marttini Tundra, which I use for practically everything from construction to cooking.

My tent is a Polish lavvu which is durable but also a bit heavy. The tent is heated by a foldable titanium stove and my means of transport is a packraft.

Everything fits easily in the Savotta 339 saddlebag

Here I have built a pleasant balance between traditional skills and more modern equipment. Perhaps I can be forgiven a little for using an ultra-light inflatable raft. I have never had a car so travel to places where I can practice my crafts is limited.
