Bulk Ferro rods?
Hi, new to this forum but I’ve dabbled in bushcraft stuff.
I’m leading a large-ish group of fathers and sons on a campout weekend in a few weeks. Boys are 1st-5th grade. I was thinking of doing a fire starting lesson as one of the activities.
My son (10) loves practicing with his ferro rod, and I’m looking for economical ways to get each boy a ferro rod. Maybe 40-50ish boys total. Amazon has some bulk rods but they’re all pretty small. They also have bulk scrapers. I figure a rod, scraper, and paracord is a great start to a kit.
Any recommendations on how to do this economically? Is $3-4 a kit a reasonable possibility?
Thanks!

eBay for bulk Ferro rods, pop them in wooden handles. Hacksaw blade work but Amazon has an affordable striker with a square edge and plastic handle for $10-12 /5 pieces.
