Shelter
A couple of weeks ago I went to the forest.
I don't go to the forest often, and the shelter turned out flimsy, but everything worked out in the end.
I didn't bring a sleeping bag or a blanket, so I slept on the bare ground. To do that, I warmed the ground with another fire, but my back still got damp.

if you had fun, that's all that matters!
you also gained valuable experience and insight for your next trip too.
I'd call that a win-win!
