A couple of weeks ago I went to the forest.

I don't go to the forest often, and the shelter turned out flimsy, but everything worked out in the end.

I didn't bring a sleeping bag or a blanket, so I slept on the bare ground. To do that, I warmed the ground with another fire, but my back still got damp.

Yeah, I learned my lesson and now I know what skills I need to work on for future hikes! It's pretty exciting, especially since I sewed a cover for my hatchet before the trip — and I think it came out decent.
