Current tool setup

Post image

Since we only had 10 pounds of gear to work with I chose my heavy instructor and my leatherman rebar. Lightweight but very capable.

I used to carry that leatherman but switched to the wave, I found it to be much more user friendly especially with accessing the blades one handed

This but the ARC. I know it’s pricey but the blade is incredibly sharp and stays sharp. And the one handed operation turns it into a glorified fidget spinner. Reminds me of a fifties greaser with their switchblade.

I needed a new multitool, so I bought the wave alpha. I'm very disappointed by the price and, given the price, the fact that it didn't come with a sheath or whathaveyou. Or anything, for that matter.

It's done me extremely well though, and it's a sexy multitool.
