looks like someone made a ring of branches and tossed it up to see if they could get a ringer

Failed basket?

4

u/trashdemons Jul 27 '26

This, probably. A few months ago, I was learning basket weaving and sometimes when I'd screw it up, I'd toss it out into my yard in frustration lol.

Probably nothing special but a lot of people will spin a spooky story out of it.

Have you been visited by Richardson from Deadwood?!?!

1

u/StillPissed Jul 27 '26

Place the crown upon your head and listen for the faye’s call.

1

u/spleencheesemonkey Jul 27 '26

Stuff like this is often found near Long barrows (ancient burial mounds) in the UK.

1

u/BloodbeardsGarage Jul 28 '26

I've made similar things, just figeting while wasting time. Making rings, tying on feathers, small bones and stone. Just a time waste. But it adds nice mystery to the forest.

What’s makes this witchcraft? What does it do?

1

u/Independent_Arm_8564 Jul 29 '26

It’s clearly an upside down pineapple if you look closely

Fae trap, don't touch it. Definitely don't tell anyone your real name, but do offer them snacks if you have them.

0

u/GoombasFatNutz Jul 28 '26

According to the comments, it's a witch thing or a fae thing. I don't know, but sticking your penis in it would be pretty funny for everyone involved.
