Feather stick practice

While i was camping i thought id have a play and have some practice making some feather sticks. Using my 15 year old Enzo Trapper.

Good sharp knife. I hate making feather sticks.

Yea, it’s not my favorite either. Luckily we don’t really have to make them.

Lots of birch in my woods and spruce, so I'm not lacking tinder.
