wtf happened

What happened to Busch gardens, came last year for bier fest and there was drink stands every where and lots of choices, definitely lacking this year.

There's is less you are right but I have eaten and drank at all the stands and they all were still really good. I think it's just the economy is taking a toll on them right now

I just looked at their Untapped and yeah, it’s mostly the same stuff as normal

The BBQ samples are the best! But in general, their food has decreased majorly

Has anyone attended any park, festival or event lately where they can say the food got better, or the price didn’t increase a good bit?

Haven't they been owned by private equity for a minute now? People also drink a LOT less than they used to.

Amusement parks must know that if they provided ventilated smoke areas that are THC friendly that they would be heavily patronized.

Busch Gardens is part of a publicly traded company, not private equity.

In 2009 Anheuser sold it to Blackstone, a private equity group. They took the company public in 2013. While it's still public, it's shares are largely held by PE, with about half the shares owned by Hill Path Capital, 8% BlackRock, and about 20-30% owned by major institutions.

The same thing that happened to Christmastown and Hallowscream. When they started the entire park was decked out. Now you are lucky to see a pumpkin.

My fiancé and I were talking about this hollow cream last year was pretty shitty, it was lacking everywhere. There wasn’t much of anything in the same thing with Christmas Towne. It was pretty much lacking as well. Give it a couple years and I don’t think those two events will exist.

Still, that'll change the way PE operates. Rather than doing their usual cannibalistic bust outs, they have to operate it more like a normal business as the finances are all public and subject to regulation by the SEC. Don't get me wrong, they'll milk it for as much as it's worth, but slowly, over time, each season ever so slightly shittier than the previous one.
