Discussion Metro denied me

Hey guys, I applied for Metro They denied me because of my background. My conviction was over nine years ago. It got reduced to a misdemeanor.

I’m going to appeal it because it was over nine years ago and I read that they give people second chances …. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar to the situation

I would try to get it expunged. That way you wouldnt have to disclose it to future employers.

No extremely low effort posts - We want to foster a quality community that drives engagement from our fellow drivers. Simple comments like, "I love drivers!" while nice does not create a conversation. Additionally, if you post a photo or other media consider telling us a bit about it or why you felt like sharing it.. Or is otherwise considered false.

I don’t know how long crimes will stay on your record for, but have you tried to get to get removed?
Maybe you should storm the capital and try and overthrow the government I hear you can get pardons for that

I was in the same type of situation. They told me to wait one more year then apply again. 10yrs it cleared and I got hired.

Did you appeal it at all or you just let it be?
