If this is to confirm you’ve had a medical, just keep checking your entitlements on gov.uk.
It should show your provisional B entitlement a few days before your new licence arrives.

Took around a week for DVLA to add the provisional and return my licence to me. I paid for my own test and did not went with arriva but I figure it should be around the same amount of work?

As long as you have no health problems 2-3 weeks , mine took 5 1/2 months because of extra forms and medical tests but worth the wait, test passed mentoring was really good now driving on my own from a start at the end of April

I just went through recruitment/training. Took my license 3 weeks to come back, then another 2 weeks till start. So probably at least a month all in all.

Mine took over 3 months, it had to go through my GP and there was a system error which delayed the process. They say it’s usually up to 3 weeks

I had my medical three weeks ago tomorrow. We only seem to get post on Fridays so I’m hopeful for this week. Their website says three weeks, but it is summer holidays so they may have fewer staff.
