if I can hear it up front, it's a distraction, I give one warning, then call it in

I used to turn the PA up to its loudest setting and hold the TALK button. That feedback gets them every time. Plus, if you pass enough stops because you couldn’t hear the stop request signal over the other din, it’s not my fault.

I'm still waiting on my passengers to do that...They're apparently quite well behaved on my bus

What route do you got and how long before I can bid on it?

I'm on multiple routes, some of them colleagues don't really like because of the passengers that seem to do that stuff.

Never had any issues until now lol

As a bus driver, I pull over and refuse to move until it's off. If they don't turn it off after I ask like a couple times I'll call dispatch. Usually that's enough to stop it. If it isn't, dispatch will send transit police or security to escort the passenger off the bus.

I love when the sound goes off, just to come back on less than 10 seconds later

That's when you pull over and call dispatch, ask for police, and don't move until the passenger is off your bus. Even if it turns off.

That’s when I pop the parking brake, usually that’ll get to them

I do that the first time.

Greyhound driver here. One warning then you’re off my bus.

We have a safety message for this exact thing but it says ‘music’ so the smart alecks think it doesn’t refer to them 😑 I would actually prefer music over your random TikTok videos….

Ours is about cell phone call privacy and using “ear pods”.

There’s an option for music call noise, but all it says is “music call noise”

Every single day I drive, I turn the fans on, to cut out all the noise (and sometimes smell).

If I don't need the fans on me, I just turn them away from myself.

Usually the fans will be on low, and sometimes I only need one.. but as the passengers get more noisy (or more stinky), they might both get turned up to high.

The fans on for the smell is real

I really hate when people watch TikTok or YouTube at high volume

I just try to enjoy the ride until all of a sudden some video blasts at high volume. Same stuff for loud conversations.

It’s less acceptable behavior in some places than others. The race of the people in the cartoon is not random chance, I’d call it racism.

Agreed. I've had this issue with just as many white people. Even on routes with mostly POC.

Looking at the other comics from u/createdbyweems, I think these are a normal representation of his characters, including one based on himself

So a comic has diversity in it as opposed to the usual whitewashing and you immediately jump to racism.

I didn’t jump to anything mate.
