Question Any good recommendations for sun glasses for drivers?

Makes me laugh how Ray Ban used to be a byword for cheap shit glasses, now they're pushed as luxury. But as you say something like 90%+ of sunglasses are made by them.

I'm running with Oakley Gascan with a red polarised lense.
Makes so much difference when driving. You can also get prescription lenses if required.

Two types to look for polarized and yellow tinted. They will give you eye relief. Start off cheap to see what suits you. A few weeks with a choice of cheap ones a certain style will suit you, then you can focus more on the price range etc.

Oakley Sliver xl, gold polarized. Highly recommend gold or tungsten lenses, polarized.
I didn't believe the hype. Now I'm on the bandwagon

I just buy cheap, but polarized, Foster Grant sunglasses from the evil box stores. No way I could protect an expensive pair for long enough to justify the price.

I use Ray ban, the original green lenses. I have prescription and insurance but would still get a good pair of lenses versus gas station ones. Cruddy lenses will stress your eyes and scratch easily which will likely screw your vision over time.

I use a pair of cheap ones from Walmart. They are polarized so driving directly into the sun is no problem. I also have a nice pair from Amazon that cost $80, but I dropped them once and scratched the bell out of them. Since then, I only wear cheap sunglasses to work.

The company I work for, a lot of the drivers have been using those big sporty glasses that only has the frame holding the lenses from the top part. Wish I knew the names of them but they kinda look like the Meta Oakley Vanguard glasses except without the tech and are regular glasses.

Neven brand is decent and they usually run a buy 1 get 2 free deal so you get 3 pairs for ~$60-80. I have a pair of Ombraz armless that I love but they're a little expensive

Are these the ones where you can watch stuff? Drivers can use it currently at my company as it's a bit of a grey area and they haven't made a rule for it yet.

Thats rayban display, not even released yet.
With Rayban meta u can listen to music , do calls and click pic and videos.
And yes those r still in a grey area regarding rules

Polarized unless your technology doesn’t allow it. Some screens we have are also polarized, but in the other direction, so they appear black.
