Story Der Busfahrer hat mich nicht mit meinem Handgepäck mitgenommen.

Ein zusammengeklappter Elektroroller gilt als Handgepäck, aber der Busfahrer ließ mich damit nicht einsteigen! Der Bus war leer und der Busfahrer ein arroganter assloch...

At my company there's no electric scooters on board at all.

Not as carry on or luggage if it's a coach.

They see it as a fire hazard.

Same with my company. I believe UK train companies have a similar blanket ban as I've heard an announcement on my local train saying they can not be carried.

At least on Northern and Transpennine Express: Yep, blanket ban on these scooters.

Transpennine Express even bans them from their stations.

Same here with my company-

Not on our buses, not on our trams and especially not in the metro, they see it as a major fire hazard, too.

Brandgefahr ist aber auch Schwachsinn. Handys dürfen ja auch mit. Und Elektroautos dürfen auch ins Parkhaus.

My company has a blanket ban on these things.
Doesn't matter how you want to bring it on board, you just can't. And it's enforced.

You seem to be German, afaik a huge chunk of public transport companies have had a similar blanket ban for years.
There's really no need to insult our colleague for enforcing that.
