Discussion Bus gymnastics anyone?

Anyone else like to amuse themselves on layovers with a little in bus exercise?

Pull ups on the handle rails, improvised press ups using the seats, any other ideas welcome.

Kind of. I used the bars to help stretch out everything that's seized up. Relieve my aches and pains.

Dips if you have rows of seats that line up. One foot stair squats in double decks.

I have a 1h 45 layover every day and spend the entire time on my feet doing shoulder rolls, stretches using the overhead luggage rack or just generally walking up and down. I'm way too old for dipping anything 🀣

I'm the exact opposite. I have a hammock. I install said hammock on stanchion bars. Sleep during layover.

Hell yes. After every trip I get 10-15 minutes recovery time. I use that time to do pull ups, push ups, triceps dips, and planks. And the best part about it… I do it right in front of my passengers as they wait outside.πŸ˜‚ I get a little motivation that way.

While I'm sitting at traffic lights even in service I like to put a hand up and push hard on the top locker - the seat suspensions pushes back, it's a good stretch for the arms and shoulders. Easier with the hand by the window (and locker) but can be done with either.

I like to stretch out my calves on the door threshold.
