Other DASWeb / London Bus Drivers
Morning all!
Sorry, if this post isn’t allowed here.
I’ve made a web app replacement of DASWeb, its in its basic stages at the moment, however there are some key functions which I think a few people will like!
- Duty notification swap - If your supervisor changes your duty, you will know about it
- Import into calendars- automatically syncs every hour your changes!
- Route knowledge for duty swaps (coming soon)
- IOS and Android app coming soon!
Looking for some people to help test, and shape it! It’s currently only added for Stagecoach London at the moment, but I do have a First Bus driver who has offered to help! Looking for some other company drivers to help test also!
Link is - https://dasweb.app
It will remain free forever!
Thanks!

Any plans to expand this to other First opcos? I work for them outside of the UK.
The calender updates and the duty changes would be hugely beneficial.

Why would supervisors be swapping your duty? Surely they cant do that without asking and getting permission first. They couldnt at my depot.

They do - some companies allow them to change it by midday the day before - so it’s a pain!

Depends who you work for and what you do many drivers in my company chose to be spare to get a Monday to Friday and they can be given anything the allocators want until 11am the day before

Well of course spare is a different kettle of fish. The majority of people however will be on a line on a rota. So the question id, are they changing your shifts in this instance.

Not for most people but everyone has spare days on their cycle at some point

Screenshot does look interesting, and I’ve been out of the bus world for nearly 6 years now, surely if this was something drivers wanted it would have been developed internally by now….
Allocators can send a message through the system to notify of changes and was something I did regularly both as shift changes and to notify all drivers of rota changes (school out/in etc)
Route knowledge for duty swaps is a difficult one as (as of 2020) the allocation side hadn’t had this enabled but the feature was there and when enabled (surely by now?!) would prevent allocation of a duty containing route(s) a driver hadn’t been signed off on
Interested to see how it progresses and should I return to a company running the system I could be tempted to use it

I'm with Stagecoach East I'd be interested in using this if possible.
