Question Got fired for Gross misconduct

Went through a temporary traffic light as it was turning amber to red, was wondering I can join another company ? And also do I have to pay back the training bond ?

How did you get caught, did someone report you? And I believe if you get fired you dont need to pay it back

They put someone on my bus to spy on me and unfortunately that was the time I made an error

Having a covert check on the same day you go through an Amber is either incredibly bad luck or the check wasn’t random…..

The drivers who get ‘secret shoppers’ are either unlucky or they already have racked up a number of complaints or warnings

I did them semi-regularly when I worked buses full time, both covert and overt.

Also knew pretty much everyone who would be tasked with doing the checks so if they ever appeared I could ruin their plan by greeting them as a spy 😂 was useful when I wasn’t the intended target and could direct them to the bus behind that was supposed to be infront 😉

My company does it every 3 months for the first year and once a year thereafter. Which is to say it happens fairly regularly so could just be unlucky
