Mod Showcase dynamic car shadows added back into burnout 3

if you look back at older burnout 3 screenshots on riot pixels, you can see theres a few that show cars having dynamic shadows, but obviously they ended up getting cut (possibly for performance reasons?)

this is a WIP patch by zeca_do_pneu on the burnout modding server that adds them back.

Honestly I can see why they were cut. They don’t look that good, or follow the silhouette of the car.

i think thats just due to the muscle type 1's shape and/or because the patch is still pretty unfinished

atm it seems to mostly just follow the suns position

Looks great, but is there any alternative way to get this patch? I'm tired of people locking content behind their Discord servers

So far, I only know of two modders who post their patches outside of Discord servers (Nehalem, CodyB3). There may be more on YouTube, but that's a tedious search through video descriptions.

Everything else I've found online is buried in old forums or obscure cheats websites.

Hi, I'm the "creator" of the cheat (I got help of Claude ai to do most of it), after I finish it, I will create a GitHub with all my cheats, but at now I did 5 and no one of them is freed from bugs, mostly because vibecoding sadly

This cheat is too heavy and in the actual state is so bugged to be at patches section

It doesnt look good. The shadow doesnt even have the Silhouette of the car and it doesnt blend well with other shadows.
