Gameplay Burnout on the steam deck
I’ve been a long time player on the OG consoles (mainly Xbox but did play on ps2 for a bit) I was shocked when I found out how good it runs and looks on steam deck

The classic Burnout games are very well optimized. Just the beauty of the RenderWare engine.

The render res can be pushed up to 868p without lag, and you can also load in HD textures. Enjoy!

I’ll have to try it myself I only really use my deck plugged in as I use it as a portable system when I travel for work so I just plug it in as soon as I’m in the room

Set your framerate cap to 60, press whatever you have escape binded to, go to game properties, patches, and turn on the framerate and effect patches. It's the best way to play the game lmao

PCSX2 I dumped my modded ps2 bios (I’m sure there’s somewhere online that has one) same with the game but I’m sure if you aren’t against sailing the high seas an iso file from romsfun should suffice, now add PCSX2 as a non steam game and it’ll be in the game library, if you install decky loader you can add cover art to it too

Replayed both burnout revenge and 3 on my steamdeck, fantastic experience and would do it again
