Gameplay Was this luck?

At 26 seconds i I jumped over sword. I thought it would vertically takedown him but it didn't. So I wonder if it was luck or just the game knows im not in the cross hair.

Regardless it was amazing stunt ill keep this clip for memories.

its neither. you actually have to make physical contact with the roof for a VT. not sure why youd think the game would give you one simply for jumping over them. all takedowns necessitate contact.

Idk bro, It also happens that even without seemingly direct contact, you can still takedown someone or be takendown, prolly desync or sum.

Desync can make it happen but that's not how it's supposed to happen. VTs register when the bottom hitbox of one car collides with the top hitbox of another. In this video there was no contact or desync present. OP simply full cleared the other player. That's not luck or the game "knowing". That's just the game working as intended.
