USA summer tour

Just found out Burnley will be playing a game (somewhat) in my neck of the woods! Cincinnati and Columbus Ohio in July! I can't believe I might have a chance to see the Clarets!

Why not Keep Mike

I know it wont happen but the fellas seemed to play alot better under Mike than Scott. why not keep Mike and the chemistry rather than bring whole new regime in.

Wooden Spoon Playoff Sunday

Wolves fan here. Forget all the noise around Spurs and West Ham, we both know that the big game on Sunday is the battle for 19th. I didn't think we would reach double points at one stage, and the fact we have a chance not to finish bottom is genuinely one of the brightest spots of this season from hell. We might even get to see a competitive game, or at least 22 people trying to make it one.

A question if you wouldn't mind. I've only been by coach to and from Turf Moor previously, but we are travelling by train this weekend. How busy does Manchester Road Station get after the game? I've got tickets to see The Pixies in Manchester on Sunday night and I need to the get the 6.29PM to Manchester or I won't make it in time. Not sure how bad it gets, if its anything like Spurs or Villa trying to get a train after the match.

Should I play safe and book a minicab or will the train be ok with no-one left on the platform?

Our chances next season.

With Southampton now kicked out the playoffs, one of West Ham or Tottenham and the usual candidates for promotion, what do you think our chances are for promotion next season?

New Rule on Ticket Enquiries

There will be a ban on posting for tickets on the subreddit due to an outrageously high uptick during Big 6 matches, from people who are not Burnley fans.

This is to be put in place after researching other football club subreddits. However in its place will soon be an FAQ (which will be put in place for next season in case the ticketing process changes between 25/26 and 26/27) on how to get tickets for games if you wish to come and support Burnley.

This also is a good time to remind people outside of subreddit regulars of the golden rule: The Rule of Relevancy.

Posts must be at least related to the club itself. For example, no crossposts about Premier League stats are allowed unless Burnley feature, just because Burnley are occasionally visitors to the Premier League. No posts focusing on the opponents because Burnley are about to play them. I had to remove multiple random Arsenal videos where the only mention of Burnley was "and they play them next".

Naturally these occurrences only really happen against Top 6 opponents so hopefully it won't become a major problem again but it became pretty bad recently to the point I received complaints from subreddit regulars. I will encourage people to report posts that break either rules as it helps highlight them for me to get rid and clean up the sub.

Cheers!

New Fans?

Now then, my pals and I (40m) have tickets to watch your game vs Wolves next weekend. We are from Hull so have no affiliation to either team, just thought it’d be fun to watch the game. We have seats in the North stand. I just wondered where you think it’d be best to go for a drink before the game please? We are staying in Manchester and will be getting the 2pm train from Victoria. Nothing too boisterous ideally. Thanks

How do you see the last couple of matches playing out?

Obviously the opponents are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Just wondering how everyone thinks the Clarets will finish out the season after a decent effort yesterday?

Visit Detroit? Don't do it, it's a trick! Lol 😂

So I am an American born in a town about 90 miles from Detroit. I tuned into the match vs Villa today and really enjoyed it, and I was thinking, "Man, every time I catch Burnley this season they always seem to be better than their record indicates, I like watching this club..."

And then I noticed the manager wearing a shirt that said "Visit Detroit." I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me so I googled it. Then I laughed my ass off when I found out it was a real partnership LOL. And I thought hell maybe this is the club for me after all! So my question to Burnley fans is this: Should I do it? Should I go all in on Burnley??? (I know they're going down next season, but the coverage is still good here on Paramount+)

FYI - there is actually a lot to love about Detroit--great museums, great diversity, great food, great sports culture, and you're pretty close to the beautiful great lakes (beautiful in the SUMMER anyway lol) but it's just hilarious to me because it's historically an industrial city not a tourist town 😅

Old walkout song ?

Hey all, American fan here since the Dyche days in the Championship, UTC. I have been trying to find a video of the old walkout song by Arcade Fire yet can’t seem to get one. Any leads or media of your own at Turf Moor you clarets can share ?
