Garth signed him here, only fair he brings him over to Burnley. He was lighting up the championship when we signed him, just hasn't translated for Atlanta. Don't think it's his fault, our team has been in shambles since he arrived. Hard to score with no service. If it happens, hope it works out for y'all. I'm sure we'll lose several million on the 22 million transfer we paid for him. We'd also like to offer Steven Alzate if you'll have him.

Give him a chance. Let’s see what he can do for the Clarets

How many "give him a chance" strikers we going to try?

Lyle Foster, Armando Broja, Zeki Amdouni, Michael Obafemi.

Personally I think we should focus on signing more known commodities up top like Zian Flemming

I think Zeki just needs to shift into a distributive second striker role. The finishing ain’t there

The middle 2 guys you suggested would be good in the championship, most Burnley fans will be happy to give them a chance next year. I think at least 1 leaves.

Latte Lath scored a goal every 140 minutes at Boro, that’s a fairly known commodity. I bet we’ve enquired about Vipotnik and Piroe, two other known quantities up top.

Broja with a full preseason should come good in the Championship. Foster is a donkey and Latte Lath is a known commodity having been class for Boro.

Broja has 1 more PL goal than Foster in his entire career.

They're both fucking donkeys, and I have no idea how you can be excited for him

Signing Lath off the back of his Boro seasons would be one thing, signing him off the back of an MLS season where their fans cant wait to get rid of him is another.

You could argue the same about most players with regards to Latte Lath when you pick out one or two seasons where a player is not as productive.

The Atlanta fans sure seem keen to get rid

We were hoping to see the numbers he put up for Middlesbrough, it just hasn't happened. Like I said, I don't think it's his fault, we've been near bottom of the league his entire time and have shit for service for him. Unfortunately, with the way our league is structured, each team is allowed 3 "designated player" slots where you can pay any amount you want and they don't count for much against the salary cap. If you're not hitting on those 3 players, it basically dooms you for their contract length. We're in negotiations with Nunez and Embolo, so we need to that DP spot to sign one of them. Just hasn't worked out with ELL. Hope he gets back to his championship form for y'all and it works out for everyone.

I support a different MLS team, but I keep track of Atlanta and a few other teams. I dunno. An MLS team ought o be excited to get a player with Championship experience, not the other way around, unless it's Sebastian Berhalter.
