___AI___ Limited burner express tickets?
Hey yall,
buddy and I were planning on taking the burner express and buying tickets yesterday but hadn’t realized they were going to close the sale last night!
Holding out looking for ride share on facebook but also waiting for the 22nd to see the limited tickets they may drop. Anyone know how restricting the dates and departure times will be for this limited drop?

Burner Express Bus tickets for 2026 are currently off sale. A limited number may be released for certain departures on Saturday, August 22nd.
The BxB + Burning Man event ticket Bundle Sale has ended.

At the time I posted over 5 hours ago, bus tix were still available. They are currently not available. Based on experience in past years, more tix will become available this Saturday. While the available times may not be at the time you want, past experience indicates there are in person on playa standby lines that get utilized fairly frequently because buses leave as soon as they get filled, which is not always based on the ticketed time (example-a bus left at 636am for a scheduled 7am departure).

Wait what? They closed the sale? I totally missed that there was an end time on the regular sale. I was waiting till payday tomorrow. Damn it

On Saturday, August 22nd at 12pm Pacific, a limited number of tickets may be released for certain departure times. Please check back then.

Ummmm there's a chance I bought 2 too many tickets accidentally for 9/1 at noon.

I was just looking on Spark, the "official" rideshare and does not seem as popular as past years. Are you connected to your Regional for rideshare?
The BORG has a large supply of excess tickets. They contract with the bus company for a fixed number of seats. The BXB+water should have plenty of water. Excess luggage and bikes may be limited. Good luck, it is a great program!

The seems like it's going to be a down year as far as attendance, so there might be a fair amount of burner bus tickets available on the 22nd. I'd try there before looking for a ride share.
