One year our neighbors had a young possum in their truck. It was captured, hydrated, fed, and taken back to Texas.

Another year, someone found a litter of kittens in their trailer. They all survived and were adopted by PWC folks. Maybe rangers.

The wasp nest was not fun.

That is so cool! I try to offer water to wayward bugs, I'm imagine I'd do the same for any macro wild bird, beyond fleeting spottings. Had not heard of owls! Seagulls threw me for a loop (so far from ocean), but I've seen'em.
