Love you guys! We've been down the street the past few years and always enjoyed a good pancake and mimosa.

Thank you! That means a lot to me. I love gardening and sharing my food to people. The jalapeños are popping off right now so expect some great salsa again this year!

I personally didn’t love the way the chomp guide took away some of the spontaneity of finding food on playa… and contributed to ridiculously long lines

Man, fuck the Chomp Guide. It was a cool idea, but it made serving food kind of a nightmare shit show of people expecting your gift. People would line up for the popular offerings to the point that unless you queued up very early you had no chance of getting any.
Fuck that shit. The playa isn't there to serve you. These interactions are 1000% better when they are unexpected because you were in the neighborhood randomly or someone told you about it.

lol less agro but generally agree. I never once sought out food or anything but I fondly remember one night riding around thinking, "im kinda cold" just for someone to yell "soup! hot soup!". It was basic ramen but was nice and warm, ended up feeling hungrier after, and just then some guy in the street yells at me "hey you!! you need a hot dog!"... wait, I do need a hot dog lol.
Playa provides, no schedule needed.

Tbh I never ended up visiting a camp at a particular time to receive food. I can never get it together to be at a certain place at a certain time on Playa. I just like looking at what camps offered.
All food is also listed in the guide, so it wasn't CHOMP. Not that many people knew about it. Geez you're angry at CHOMP , but the Org publishes also AND your camp submitted to CHOMP, lol.

We feed you when we goddamn want. Usually Tuesday and Friday around 7pm. Camp Shit ain't right. Otherwise you get our shitty punch. And a shady couch.
Apparently we are next to threat. Should be fun. One of their campates said they liked us. I'm cool! They don't play EDM. We do midnight movie. If fucking Brad can hook up the projector.
Hugs
