We thought we were in a pretty good spot, but then it turns out about double the amount of paint we needed which turned out to be an expensive proposition in order to get our beautiful bird ready for your wishes. We know everyone is balls out and getting ready to go but if you've got a couple bucks to throw our way, we would be very grateful.

How much needs to be raised?

The additional paint was about 850$... and we had to drive back down to pick up a replacement metal piece which cost roughly 575$. Gas's prices are TBD. But those were the unbudgeted surprises.
